Long the mainstay of the Club Soaring world, the Schweizer 2-33A was the first taste of soaring for many thousands of pilots.
This beautiful 1/3 scale rendition with an advanced high performance airfoil is truly designed for aero-tow or benevolent
slope launching. In just about any conditions you'd want to fly in, this majestic 17 foot wingspan 1/3 Scale
2-33 will deliver; it's smooth handling and uncanny ability to find and signal "LIFT!!" in light air will
amaze and impress anybody who's ever flown a "cookie cutter" all molded lead slipper. Since this big 2-33 is easy
to ballast-up for efficient penetration in windy conditions, yet remain responsive and manageable in light air or on slow
field approaches you'll find this 'Gentle Giant' is the one you always want to take along on any kind of soaring
outing. Developed for Aero-Tow, it's docile enough that a big slow Cub can mange her on climb out on the lazy light air days
and the wide speed range will keep you flying much longer in a wider range of conditions than anything in its class.

The Scale Tow Release Setup As
part of the basic design we've got the fabrication and installation of a conventional model tow release included in the plans
and manual. But we've got folks that really wanted a Scale Tow Release instead.. and here it is. The decision to incorporate
the Scale Release has to be made prior to starting the fuselage build since the structure of the nose is quite a bit different
to accomodate the Scale Release. Here's the Plans Addendum, the Scale Release Installation Manual (with detailed photos)
and the additional CNC cut parts necessary to build it into the nose, the cardstock templates to modify the
parts impacted in the kit AND the Scale Release all in one package. No 'head scratching'.. makes the inclusion
of the Scale Release in your Gentle Giant a breeze. Note:
CANNOT be added to a finished model or a fuselage that has already been started!

The Shipping Situation
The Basic, Standard
and Deluxe Kit packages can be over-sized or ship in two boxes, so the shippers often calculate shipping based on
the packages dimensions rather than it's weight. We send this via UPS to US 'lower 48' destinations, usual cost
is between $37.95 and $49.95 for the various short kit packages. Please note, Overseas or Canada destinations can
cost significantly more. The cart system will process the order for your items and assigin a base shipping price for
each item in the cart. This means that if you order multiple items the Cart System will keep adding to the shipping costs..
no worries, we'll refund immediately the erroneous 'overages' and charge you only the shipping amount for the largest item
in the order. If the kit or items are going to an overseas or Canadian destination and the cart didn't collect enough
to cover the shipping we'll contact you promptly via email for the difference in costs. I guess we should let you know... The fiberglass work, plans, manual, CNC and laser
cutting are ALL done in house here at Aviation Concepts. This is the ONLY way to assure the level of quality and attention
to the details that make our kits the best in the industry. We strive to keep kits on hand ready to ship immediately,
so you'll normally not have to wait "six weeks" (or months) for your kit to ship. If we experience any shipping
delay longer than 2 days after your order comes in, we will immediately notify you of the situation and when you can
expect your kit to ship. We'll do our best to not keep you hanging.. unless it's already built and you just wanna
keep it in the thermals. We're certain your going to love
